- In terms of finding a suitable song to use in our promo music video project. My band Before i Go plays gigs with a lot of local unsigned bands that deserve the right to be signed because of how talented they are. These unsigned bands are the bands i intend to look into whilst trying to find suitable music for my music video.
- Because we have played gigs with these bands i am well aquainted with all of the members from these bands and for these reasons they would be more than happy with allowing me access to use the song if i give them credit for the song in the video.
- These bands are unsigned so to use their one all i need to do is ask their permission, however if i cannot do this for whatever reason then i will have to resort to asking an already signed but still upcoming artist to use their songs. however i would like to avoid this options as it can only lead to complications with copyright laws if something goes wrong.
- The track i must use has to be a maximum of 5mins long and no less than 3 mins, this is the normal range that sounds normally fall under so it shouldnt be too hard to find a song that fits this guideline.
- In terms of the genre of the song they would swing more to the catagory of hard rock with the odd exception of pop rock and borderline techno. The genre will differ depending on the song that we decide to use.
- The genre of the song can NOT be anything along the lines of rap, country music, and anything with obscene hard to understand vocals.
